Thoughts on our tiny corner of the Maryland classical music world: Triadelphia Brass, Geri's Baroque Consort, Maryland Chamber Orchestra, Something Else, und Der Chor.

Who should be invited/compelled to play?
What should we play? Are we "satisfied" with reading 4-part hymns straight out of the hymnal? Would it be better (or worse) in any way to try some kind of quartet or string orchestra music?
When should we practice?
This always sounds like a big, bold idea, but without any established ensemble or repertoire, I have a hard time picturing something that I'm proud to lead or be a part of. Please help me see what I'm missing.
